Recent updates

Ok.

Last week, Angie and I didn't end up going out to dinner. Eric can attest to that, cause he was there that night, staying at my place. We've talked once since then, but no other contact has been made, either by her or me. I'm probably gonna call her tomorrow or something.

At Wal-Mart, things have been going pretty well, actually. Its a fun job. I'm just glad I don't have to run a register there. Then it would suck.

Special quote from a recent, random customer: "I don't want rittle wedgie, I want BIG wedgie!" (He was talking about potato wedges). This is perhaps one of the funniest things I've heard there so far. At the time, I was getting annoyed with the guy, but when he left, I thought about what he said, and then I fell down laughing hard. When one of my coworkers was wondering what I was laughing about, I wrote it down for her, and she also fell down laughing.

Tuesday, I was making up some BBQ Chicken Chunks and I used the Fire Wing sauce by accident. Instead of freaking out, I marketed them as "Hot Chunks". They sold insanely! People were asking about them the next day, and sadly, my boss had to turn them down. It was just an accident, but it was a cool accident. I feel like an idiot savant or something like that. Or a retardedly smart guy.

I stayed up all night Wednesday playing "Mafia" on X-Box. Damn, that game is HARD. The makers captured the look and feel of 1930's style cars perfectly, with the tough steering and odd acceleration. Unfortunately, they couldn't capture the voice acting with the lip movements right, so it looks like it came straight from Italy. But it didn't come from Italy, it came from Czekoslovakia.
Another thing I hate (that they got right, unfortunately) was the horrible handling of Tommy guns. They jam CONSTANTLY, and at the WORST FUCKING TIMES. Here I am on 18/100 HP, and I get attacked by not one, two, or five guys with various guns. Try TEN. I had what I thought was the perfect weapon, cause it worked beautifully other times. Then I try to fire, and it sticks. I fire again, and it sticks, then shoots. I waste 6 before I'm made into swiss cheese. Thank goodness the game does constant Auto-Saves, or I'd be severely more pissed.

My family is going to be gone for a week camping. A WEEK. That's a week of peacefulness. My gramma is coming to stay with me, but she's there to watch the dogs. With me working two jobs, I can't feed them as much as I'd like, or let them out, and she can. So she is. So there. :p

I'm taking the weekend of August 3rd off. Mark that date, cause its gonna be important. Party plans may come to surface. Plans we made earlier.
